This small trench art model plane is made from a central bullet cartridge and bullet (about 4" long). The wingspan is a little over 6".
The plane has a tiny crafted engine and copper propeller that spins. The plane sits on small spoked wheels that turn as well.
The wings have small holes for wire rigging, but I don't believe that the craftsman ever put the wire on the plane.
Overall the plane is in excellent condition and is an unusual example of early aviation trench art.
I have several other trench art planes and related items currently posted on Collectors Weekly.
Thanks for looking,
Scott

Was this an ebay purchase - it is a very nice little piece.
