Just wanted to ad, I believe eyes are glass and I'm not sure but might be hay stuffed. Grandmothers great-grandmothers bear possibly? Please help
Your bear dates more to 50's when limbs were no longer always jointed and The plastic nose instead of sewn nose was used . He appears to be of a synthetic material he is not mohair . His eyes look like plastic but you can see them better then the photo shows , so they could be glass . He resembles maybe a knickerbocker bear maybe . He is very cute bear ! and looks well loved by someone . Hope this helps .
Thx for the info! Let me ask ya this, what's the oldest bear/stuffed animal that doesn't have jointed limbs? We think that the nose and eyes aren't original. Nose sits very odd and is attached crooked and eyes could be original. What do you think? Thx
