After seeing cars & toys depicting this era, I thought I should post pics of my 1901 Bump-n-Go Jalopy. There use to be a man sitting on it steering, I played with it till it no longer worked. The drive motor and drive wheel are missing, I would love to restore it but have not been able to locate parts. I would have played with this in the mid 60's.

Thanks for sharing the story scotscuff, I hope your classmate walked away from the wreck.
Me too scotscuff, we had to entertain ourselves here on the farm, it may have been dangerous at times but it made us creative. A far cry from some of these bubble wrapped kids today, they are missing out on so much.
Thanks for the love Beaux.
