Part of their excellent advertising campaign memorabilia. I have these 3 of the Philip Morris match and cigarette holders in excellent condition, and they can go up to around 300 U.S. dollars in that condition, each. I have a 4th one also, but he is not in the collection as he is not in as good shape by no means. Took me a short while to get them on ebay, but I wanted them in as good condition as possible. Ususally the paint is worn or they are missing the cigarette or match holders. They are pretty rare in excellent condition.
They are made of brass and enameled brass and the head is a composition material, possibly wood. The large one is around 10 inches and the midgets are 6 inches. Kind of like a regular size man in the middle and 2 of the Johnny midgets flanking him, for great service. I don't smoke but always seem to have loved smoking memorabilia !~
