John Hand US navy compass with hooded brass binnacle. There is a sliding peep hole for un-detected navigation at night. Marked STU 7 N3.
about 12 inches across and 15 inches high. Was told by seller it came from Coast Guard Cutter along with a brass ships wheel.Wheel to be posted later. Very nice find for a garage sale. I haven't been lost since.
