We found this box of marbles in the basement of an estate. They are very nice marbles though we are having a hard time determining the age of the marbles. There appear to be some plain and others swirled. They all appear to be glass in composition.

great find. I love the dark corners of estate sales. I have found some great stuff overlooked.
it looks as though you may have some great marbles my suggestion on putting an age on them would be to look up peltier marble company you have quite a few peltier marbles in this lucky find, there are peltier peerless patches from what i can tell a few peltier swirls and several peltiers slags and maybe even a couple of alley agates and maybe even some moss agates from akro agate marble company awsome find a good resource for helping with info is ebay type in search peltier marbles and it will pull up some really great marbles better yet google peltier glass company and check out the information it provides on dates of the making of these beauties hope it helps..
