6 tiny glasses and decanter...
Hello, my parents got these when we traveled overseas in the late 50's/early 60's. I always heard about the Czechloslovokian cut glass, but didn't realize it should be called Bohemian cased glass. I have six goblets 8 cm high, and the decanter is 22 cm high.. You can see it has a pink and yellow rose pattern different than the red roses I have seen on other Bohemian cased glass. If you look closely at the plug on the decanter, however the pattern is not the red and yellow roses, yet tiny tiny flowers on the plug. Does this seem any earlier than present day, or is it simply another piece of Bohemian cased glass? It is in excellent shape, only the tiniest nick off the gold on the rim (1/8"slight chip) of the decanter. Would anyone want to give me any feedback on this? Thank you for your time. Also, I can also be reached at: laurablalock@yahoo.com Also, there are no markings whatsoever on the bottom of either decanter or glasses.
