but the word "UNITED" MAYBE MEANS UNITED AIRLINES"maybe they picked up people inthe past and brought them to the airport and this is ad piece to promote the business.
Interesting theory; never thought of that. Wondering if there is a book or listing of all the Hoge pressed steel cars made in the past? All I have seen is the Fire Chief Car. Thanks Todd
It appears that your friend is correct in identifying your car as being made by Hoge. The following link is for the Fire Chief version which had a siren as well as electric headlights. Really nice toy.
