I thought orange was my sisters favorite color so I put all of these things in a box for her. And to have a pair of anything is pretty nice, or so I thought. I was really excited to give her these things. She didn't want any of this stuff. I was kind of confused at first, I didn't think any of this was outrageously ugly or offensive. She hated the blue center vase, I thought it was cool. My feeling were a bit hurt also, but she kept acting as if I had insulted her and her taste. Frosted glass is not her thing. I was starting to wonder about myself & if I too was as 'tacky and junky' as she described this. She told me to keep it all, so after about six months I did. I shoulda known something was afoot, because it was only after I brought it home did she tell our Mom how greedy I was and she asked my Mom if she could have our greatgrandmothers wedding ring, 'Just to keep it fair'. Ha!
I am curious about the two pumpkin shaped boxes and the blue vase, if anyone has any info I would be grateful!
