Got this item in a WWII Marine Corps lot I picked up on Ebay a few years ago. It was a lot of odds & ends, and junk drawer stuff. I noticed a few E.G.A pins and ribbons, so I placed a bid, and won.
This book, made of stapled "DITTO SHEET" paper, measures 4inches by 4 inches. Big enough to fit in the breast pocket of a uniform. It tells the Pilot and Air-crew members thet Lat & Lon of each Island, if there is any fresh water or food, and if the Islands are occupied by natives or Jap troops. Roughly about 8 pages. Neat item that doesn't turn up all too often. Great piece of WWII Marine Corps Aviation history!
