This Lawson Cyclometer has quite a history. I was informed by the dealer who sold it to me that ," this clock comes from the study/ office of Arturo Toscanini. It was actually bought by his son Walfredo (Walter) but was placed in the study. Having said that, the family generally agrees that the maestro did not concern him self with day to day things like clocks so even though it was there, he probably did not notice it." I was stunned. The dealer is sending a certificate of authenticity from the family.
I thought it was a neat clock. It still runs quietly and keeps excellent time the fourth picture is of Walfredo and Arturo Toscanini.
