Hello everyone,
I found this site while trying to look up info on my mysterious vintage General Electric floor lamp. I aquired it about 3 weeks ago and am in love with the uniqueness of the piece but would really like to find out what it ws used for/value. The Lamp piviots in a 360degree motion where the metal meets the wooden tri-pod and it has Degree markings on it: 45, 90, 180 etc. also on the right side near the top of the metal shade it has another adjustment knob with degree markings on it. The legs are fully adustable and slide up and down tightening into position with these Wing Nut style bolts. It really is a unique piece...any one know the origins of these lamps? I've yet to come across anther like it.
Thanks - Matt-
