Wow, what can I say about this. Well, if you are a FRIENDS fan like I am you will automatically know that this poster was displayed above the t.v. in Monica's apartment for all episodes. I love the fact that the show never got rid of this poster. It's actually an advertisement for a toy store in France.
This piece hangs above my bed in my bedroom. The frame I have it in literally is almost the length of my queen size headboard. Thought I would share this :D

Although the over popular TV series "Friends" blew, I do know this poster very well. It is dated 1885 and is a stone lithograph from artist Jules Cheret, who was both a master of poster art and lithography.
This particular piece was 1 of over 40 posters Jules painted advertising the Paris department store "Aux Buttes Chaumont". Most all of his posters pictured a woman and had similar style.
If this poster is an original, it should measure approximately 48" x 69" which is considered a French subway or transit size poster. This is one of my favorite posters by Jules Cheret! But a shame it's popularity came from an awful TV series. GREAT find though! Enjoy it.
