I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF CARS ALL MY LIFE AND WHEN I SAW THIS AT A DEALER THAT WAS CHANGING FROM A CHEVROLET DEALER TO A DODGE CHRYSLER DEALER AND I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE IT AND AFTER MUCH DEBATE THEY FINALLY SAID YES. IT STANDS AT 96 1/2 INCHES TALL OR JUST OVER 8 FEET TALL...2 FEET 11 INCHES WIDE AS FAR AS THE BASIC SIGN...THE BASE IS 3 FEET 4 INCHES WIDE...ON THE INSIDE OF THE SIGN IS A SERIES OF NUMBERS THAT READS...92584-1-01...AND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SIGN IS A PIECE OF TAPE THAT READS...3RD SHIFT. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AS IT SPENT IT'S LIFE INSIDE THE SHOWROOM OF THE DEALERSHIP...I'M NOT SURE WHEN IT WAS MADE OR HOW OLD IT IS BUT I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS A PRETTY NICE SIGN TO HAVE.

2001 sounds about right.Your lucky they just gave it to you!Went to a chevy dealer auction a few weeks ago and you would have had to pay out the nose for a piece like this[even though it's not that old!]
I was wondering if anyone would know the value of this sign?
It's only worth what someone is willing to pay you. I know that sounds cliche, but it's true. It's nothing fancy and it takes up a lot of space.
Thanks Chevy59 for being honest...I'll probably just try to take the sign apart and try to keep it in the ceiling of my garage.
