This Loetz Phänomen Genre 1/4 is the epitome of Art Nouveau style and design. Circa 1900, form # 514, the vase is organic in shape with hints of flower forms and vines, tadpoles and teardrops. Properly signed within the pontil, its one of the most perfectly realized examples I have ever seen. Similar forms of this tadpole decoration are found on Tiffany vases of the same time period. I don't know who copied whom. Formerly owned by Toni Campbell.

GORGEOUS!
Phenomenal, Mr. T! It's hard to choose between upright and upside down!
I agree!...it doesn't really have a bad angle.
Coffee table book stuff. Congrats, Tony.
Thank you all...
It's phenomenal! But I'd vote for 'upright'! It's a stunner!
