Being a lefty, it wasn't easy to find an original one of these (trust me, I have been trying to find one for years), so I had one made. It was made by Dan Ransom in San Francisco (in the back of Real Guitars) in 2007-2008, I didn't think it was going to turn out as good as it did! I was very anal about how I wanted it built. The color was matched perfectly from a trashed 60's Epiphone 335 bass, the neck was modeled after my 65' SG Jr (not the baseball bat neck, the tall thin neck). I added a volute at the neck heal for more strength, being a gigging musician I wanted the strongest guitar possible. Brazilian rosewood fretboard w/ real MOP inlays. It feels amazing and looks like and feels like a vintage Epiphone. Seymour Duncan in the neck, a GFS in the bridge (will change it to a SD one day). Tone Pro bridge, 60's Silvertone knobs. This thing ROCKS! Have gigged with it for a few years now and it gets better with age. Had a tuning problem when I got it, I had a new nut made and a pro set up, problem solved.
