My dad joined the California National Guard at age 17 in 1937. He was Stationed at Fort MacArthur, CA with the 140th Infantry. In Oct 1939 he decided to Join the US Navy and by 1943 he had made Chief Mineman. My dad retired from the service in 1959. First photo taken in 1938, second photo taken at NAD West Loch, T.H. 1949.

Kevin, It's "Tiberius" just kidding. I use ttomtucker as my handle on Ebay, tomtucker was already being use. many years ago a friend of mine started calling me tommy, from there it went to tommy tucker you remember the nursery rhyme "Tommy Tucker sings for his supper."
