This was the best photo of it I could get. It’s framed, matted and hanging in my home. This diploma is one of my most prized possessions, it can be an heirloom passed down for generations. Goldie was my great, great grandmother. I found it while going through my grandparents’ garage, and was told that I could have it! The amazing part is that, her name was Goldie, not “Golden,” and her middle name was Cathleen, not “Kathleen.” This makes it much more special. She went to New Straitsville (Ohio) High School. I hope that everyone loves it as much as I do!!
    It's 16" x 21"
    It reads:

High School of New Straitsville, O.
This certifies that Golden Kathleen Call has satisfctorily completed the Regular course of study prescribed for the high school and is therefore entitled to recieve this Diploma
In witness whereof our signatures are hereunto affixed this twenty-sixth day of May 1914.
