I'm thinking there might be a few guys on here that would appreciate this. It's big old pre-war bicycle reflector. It was designed to mount on the rear fender just above the drop style kickstand you find on alot of these old bikes. It's a real beauty! Check it out...

Just the guys I thought would like it! Thanks you three!!
Love the bike stuff. Was just at a bicycle swap meet last Sunday in Butler Pennsylvania. Bought a prewar springer and a Huffman rear rack.
Love it toolate, I was at a guys place the other day that opened up a drawer full of these that he has collected over the years. He had several colors of these, really cool. That one you have is pretty good sized, larger than many I have seen, really nice. Wish I could post pictures for you guys of all the amazing stuff this guy had. He is currently restoring a 1947 Studebaker and has 3 restored Model A's, one that he attends national shows with.
Thanks Jamie! There is a guy here locally that's like that. Just when you think you have a pretty nice collection of something you meet somebody like him! Helps keep you humble...lol...
how true! Seeing other collections really keeps you grounded. That was my idea for a new History Channel show featuring Frank and Mike of American Pickers. My idea I tried to pitch was "American Pickers: Not For Sale". A show in which Frank and Mike would tour the country looking at the most amazing collections of different things that are in personal collections and not for sale. I think it would have a huge audience.
Jamiedpt, I love it! I think they should start with officialfuel!!!
Very cool reflector toolate !!
Thanks Hedge! You too Pack! I had this on a bike I restored and gave to my dad. He kept it for 10 years or so and never rode it. He gave it back to me and I have since dismantled it. I'll post some photos of someday.
Thanks Bell!!!!
I thought this was some type of gem stone, or mineral. Very nice!
Now that's a reflector! Nice find! Is it glass by any chance?
Thanks Nick! And Bruce!! I think it is glass. It feels like it...
