This is a 1925 Remington 12 desktop typewriter in good condition. It has the normal wear and knicks and scratches but is overal in great condition. The front still produces a good reflexion but the paint on top has a bit of wear and down by the spacebar. The machine works great. Two minor things are that the red tabulator key the cap had to be replaced so that is not original and one of the papersupports are missing as pictured. One is working but the other i replaced with a paperclip which works fine for now. I might get it fixed. The decails are in great shape, the meganism is fast and good working. All the switches work and the leaver works great to. The leaver is on the right side but that was a matter of choice back in the day. The keys are in great shape as you can see. They are white and just in wonderfull condition. It says it is made by Remington Canada and the word remington is seen on the papertable and on the tabulator meganism cover. These are the features:
*Colourselector
*Paperrelease
*Carriage release
*Margin release
*Platen release
*Tabulator with manual tab-settings
*Covered up inkspools inside
*Shift lock
etc.
I bought this machine for $33,- and it works great. What a buy.
