It's been a looooong time since I last shared a picture, but I've been ill -a nice flu- and out of my place (and computer) for almost two weeks, plus I run out of fresh pictures to upload... anyway, I hope this picture will be worth it: I am on the January issue of the Finnish GLORIAN ANTIIKKI magazine as the weird Spaniard that collects Finnish glass... isn't it funny?

Thanks Scandi! handsome???? LOL
Ooooo, you'll make me blush :$ LOL
Not weird...very cool!
Alejandro! Congratulations on this acknowledgement.
Even better that it comes from the Finns themselves!
Austro you are totally cute!!! How wonderful that they wrote about you and your gorgeous collection. Well deserved. Can I have your autograph?
Hahaha, you're all great! Thanks! Last week a woman from the facebook Finnish group I belong to told me that after showing the article to her husband he now understood her better about collecting glass and so on. And I really feel weird... I must have been some people's talking subject over lunch in Finland... that's truly weird!!!! :D
Your collection has inspired them.
The article helped him understand how Finnish glass is an international collecting topic.
A job well done!
Thanks vetraio! :) Now I need a Danish magazine to write another article on my Danish glass collection... LOL
How's your Danish? I can't find a translation of "opdrevet". I have a piece that I will post tomorrow that looks like a Per Lutken piece on Hardernet: "Lerform krukke, multifarvet, tæt marmor lerform opdrevet." It's not by Per, it's Maltese!
My Danish is very very very basic... just like my Finnish. I've tried to teach myself boh languages because of my glass hobby. Does "up the drive" or "up driven" makes any sense talking about glass in English?
Looking forward to seeing that piece already!!! :)
Austro, I agree with V. You have shown the Fins that their art is appreciated around the world. I think it is wonderful.
Plus they are all jealous of your collection and your coolness.
I'm totally blushing LOL
AND THANKS!!!!
Cool cats don't blush, they just take it all in stride :)

Haha, thanks Bellin! But it was just a passing fame... who remembers me today? LOL
