This was made in the 80s and were built in Solingen, Germany. With it's threaded and pinched bolsters in nickel silver and 1095 Carbon steel blades, it has all the bells and whistles for knife collectors. This is referred to as a Coon Striped celluloid Sowbelly pattern. Fancy etching on the main clip blade of 2 Pit Bulls fighting, all blades have the match strike pulls on them. I collect a lot of pocketknives but this is one of my favorites. What is interesting is that these were made in the same place Fight'n Roosters were produced. The late 1970s thru the 1980s were a pretty special time for very high quality knife making in Germany.

Very cool!! Where do you find pieces like this?
Thanks Bernie and pickingupbones! Bernie I have collected knives my whole adult life. You use to be able to find them at flea markets and swap meets. These days I find many at gun shows here and trade alot online with several friends on knife sites, from all over the country.
