Hi, recently i purchased this typewriter at a local auction for $20 i brought it because the style and design of the small machine interested me not because i am any type of collector, i am interested in discovering the type or model of the machine, however have been so far unsuccessful, i noticed most machines have the model and machine type in plain sight somewhere however mine does not, as shown in the picture it comes in an old carry case and has Remington portable written on the top and nothing else, from my research i have come to think it was made somewhere in the late 1930's however could be completely wrong, i have found the serial number for it on the front of the machine behind the keys and it is V862356, i would really love it if someone could help me with identifying what type/model it is, and what year it was made. is really intriguing me and frustrating me knowing nothing about this amazing machine so far and would love to find out more, thank you for your help, it would be greatly appreciated. keedee
