Mice move as you pull toy how old & from which co or hand made? Any value? Can that small handle help to know if added on by someone or was it original to the toy? Since my father and grand-fathers used to sculpt wood especially when in the bush, was this therefore a Folk Art?

Based on what I can see in the pictures, I would say it is half old. It looks like the main board has been replaced as well as the axle bearing blocks. The mice, wheels and metal parts look original. The finish on the main board and the type glue used on the bearing blocks make me come to my conclusion.
Thanks!
How old?
