Dolly Dingle and Chocolate Drop, Kewpies and Scootles. Some dolls that make me smile! Here are more of my composition dolls. I had the Dolly Dingle doll with 5 pigtails, then found a framed picture with her and her puppy to match. Later found the black compo version which I researched and found in a doll book, her name was Chocolate Drop from the 1920s.
Little Scootles looking up at her big sister from the 1930s which was designed by Rose O'Neill of Kewpie fame. Then the two compo Kewpies from the 1940s.
