Here is a fairly common item. It's an original Starr X opener and box. I got it to put on my westy standard so it'll have an opener on each side.

My brother ran across one in Texas the other day and asked me what it was worth.
It was in very rough condition but he might've wanted to restore it, if he bought it. I haven't heard if he pulled the trigger or not.
Hey Perry, I do have the catcher, it just needs some minor surgery to remove the effects of a careless plow guy. But I certainly would love to find another, one for each side ya know!!
I've got the same thing, box and all, except the opener is in a little crappier shape. Nice find.
Thanks cckid. I was really happy when I opened it cause the box does have some water staining. It came out of the box just as you see it, no polishing at all.

Geez Bernie, now that you mention it, I probably ought to get a curio!!! All my smalls are in the coolers, or on the bar, lol!!
I know of 1 similar to the coca cola one from the late 40' s but it is white which I assumed was painted so I better ask was there any other or a later release of these but in white.
