Telephone bench seat. Purchased the telephone to add to the effect. I would assume from the 40's or 50's? Any ideas?

   I had one of these telephone bench's that used to belong to my grandmother and she bought it in the late 1930's. I gave the bench to my daughter, she owns a house that was built in the 1930's and it fits her "decor".
