The last picture shows my Irish table at the restoration place of Bernard Henderson of Pennsylvania while it was being restored. I believe that is the picture he sent back.

The first photo is in my home, the table now rests with a large coat of arms of Canada above it. The coat of arms is 80 pounds of cast iron that has been re-gilded and polychromed for highest impact. It is a very rare piece and although many people would like to own a coat of arms, they were only produced for Government offices, and one in a private collection such as this is very rare and desirable.

The 2nd picture is one of my postcards of about 1908 which describes the Canadian coat of arms.

The 3rd photo shows the table with a smaller swag missing from the left hand side of the table. Bernard had a new swag carved to match the missing one and did a fine job.

Thank you beauxPurdy, rockersd, wolcot1,luiosa, walksoftly,Bellin68,vetraio50,officialfuel, for all the love, I have the book on Irish Furniture of course, the author wrote a book, the prices go up after a book comes out usually, and then about a year later sold a lot of the pieces that were in the book that he loved, so much for his "love" of Irish furniture. The book however is excellent.

Sorry vetraio, I do not know of the maker, there are similarities to other tables I have seen since, but not exactly, the book on Irish Furniture also shows some tables from as late as 1920's, and those were also some one of a kind masterpieces.

The Irish tables from the mid to late 19th century are now increasing greatly in value also, although purists would be happiest probably with 18th century table makers.

I had to have the table because it looked like the legs were about to run away !!~

Thank you LOUMANAL for the comment. Actually I got them from public works. I just bought a beauty of a coat of arms from Calgary that was above an RCMP office near calgary, at auction, very, very heavy, and when I got this one, about 15 years ago, I got a big one and a smaller same style version of 30 inches for the smaller. I have some coats of arms of other countries also. Thanks for the love also !~

The table was also missing the swag that connects between the dropping vines, on the left hand side, which was very well carved and replaced by Bernard. The table is about 34 inches high and about 48 inches wide.
