I inherited this radio from my mother after my father passed away. my grandmother received it as a gift from two women that were living at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. my grandmother worked at the hotel as domestic help. they rented apartments at the hotel back then, I do not know if they still do. I had the radio professionaly restored about three years ago. it sounds as good as the stero we own and looks like it came off the showroom floor.
