Standard of Indiana (Amoco) used this Red Crown globe on pumps from 1932 until 1961, with some residual use therafter. This version, with the opening in the top, was offered to dealers as a swag lamp globe in the late 1960s early 1970s

Spoke with the owner of Sinclair glass, the maker of this globe, yesterday. He said these were made for Amoco,as carolinatraveler said,BUT in the early 80's.They were offered as a swag like mine

or with a wood base like yours, the dealers were sent letters to fill out and send back ,telling the company which style they wanted. He said he thought they made about 2000 of these.I got mine at an auction, the lady that owned it worked there ,and was the painter,so she had painted mine (and maybe yours!)when it was new!
