Bought this beautiful Dot Optic bowl in a fabulous antique store in Savannah about a week ago and have been doing some research. I was certian it was Fenton but having looked a about a zillion pictures all over the net and books I cant seem to find enough evidence to confirm or deny, for that matter, just who made it. Any thoughts or ideas woiuld be very welcome.

Fenton is almost synonomous with this type of glass, but what they made actually imitated much older Victorian glass, which is what this appears to be. Many companies made Polka dot opalescent glass in the late 1800s: Hobbs Brockunier, Buckeye, Northwood, Jefferson, etc. I'd look to these companies.
