The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye is probably the "classic" box camera of the 1950s. Manufactured from 1949 through 1961, the Brownie Hawkeye featured a molded Bakelite body, brilliant viewfinder, a rotary shutter and a Meniscus single element lens that was in focus from 5 feet to infinity.
When this camera came out it only cost $ 5.50.

What a great camera, and we called them "baby brownie hawk eye's ",or was it just us that added the "Baby part?" It looks like you have the complete accessories.
My mother took every picture with one of these until about 4 years ago.

That is a great find. It's the earliest version of the bakelite Brownie Hawkeye. It does not have any provision for flash. You mostly see the Flash Model that takes a screw in flash holder on the left side of the camera. (when you are holding it to take pictures). Kodak did have a small flash holder that you could hold in your hand and if you set the camera to do a time exposure you set off the flash just after pushing the button on the camera. The box makes this find extra special.
Wonderful!
