Any I have ever seen the gold is over the silver or some is reversible. Like a bracelet that could be worn to show the silver side or reversed to show the gold side. If you are going to research the ring try the school alumni association. They are normally more than willing to help and many have access to old records that would show where the items were made and by who. I have also used classmates dot com to help me find answers. We recently parted with a regular gold class ring, men's size 10 for just under $300 so do your homework.
I lived on Cerro Gordo street in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but i don't know if there was a school by that name in New Mex. It is beautiful, I have always loved the use of mixed metals. Some people are gold people and some people are silver people, well I am a mixed metal person, LOVE IT, Mich
I know Gordo is fat, but what is Cerro? Maybe stream?? Mich
