I picked up this great old wooden school desk at a sale last weekend. As you can see, it is one of those types where the student kept the same desk all the time. Note the ink bottle holder and slot for pens.
Desk is in excellent condition, covered with great graffiti. It is difficult to see in the photograph, but the top is completely covered with student graffiti.
When I was in grade school back in the 50's, we had desks just like these, my desk and I spent quite a bit of time together in the hall.
Here is the best part, stuck up underneath is all the old chewing gum, remember doing that!!!
I am going to use this as a new Time-Out desk for my grand-kids, it should get a lot of use!
