There were several Smile Bottling Companies in the 1920's. I am only familiar with the one in Bethlehem, PA
have one with a paper lable and full. they had syrup in them. the bigger bottles had soda in them. 1-5$ double to triple that for the full ones with a nice cap and the paper lable.
From what I could find they contained orange flavored soda. We recently dug one up while digging to get to my basement drain. So we did some research.
We dug one several years ago it's Pat'd July 11th 1922 CONT 2 1/2FL. and measures about 5 7/8"
