Hmm, I'm stumped on the actresses. My first instinct was a very young Ava Gardner Pic #1) and a very young Greer Garson (pic #2). The third pic is obviouosly a negative. Looks like maybe these were press photos that were printed in newspapers. The photos on the far right are Richard Nixon and Jack Paar (who was a talk show host and host of the Tonight Show before Johnny Carson took over). Nixon (and Kennedy) appeared on Paar's show right around the time of their famous debate while they were running for President. I'll pass these around and see if I can give you a better idea of the actresses. I'm usually good with that stuff...just not coming up with the obvious right now.

Thanks so much, now the second one is the one my grandpa thought was Mitzi, i dont know but it was in with a envelope by its self but among other things was letters written to newspapers , magazines and such stating what they want it to say blah blah blah, so maybe it was press photos. Whatever it is I think belonged to the International shoe company because thats what alot of the documents and advertising about is, but i dont know why they would have these mixed in with it. Thanks so much for helping :)

since one is Nixon do u think it would have any value?

Honestly, I don't think it has a lot of value. On the whole, your collection is interesting and a good find but the negatives and photos you have are not the only ones surviving and unless there is something signed by Nixon or Paar or one of the other stars, they are just old press photos with some PR copy to go with them. Might be nice to put everything in a binder or scrapbook if you hold onto them. Marilyn photos are always in demand, though. Let me know if you decide to part with it.

Thanks so much for all the advice on stuff. I really apprecaite it. My dad does want to part with the Marilyn, he is going to take alot of the other stuff to just local auctions and ebay. I can give him ur e mail or something if u would like, if u wanted to talk about the Marilyn?
