myplay was a music site that was ahead of its time. You could put your music in a "Locker" that lived up in the cloud, so that you could have access to your tunes wherever you went. Sound familiar? The difference is that users had to rip, upload, and then organize their music, mostly manually. Kinda painful in 1999. Those of us on the launch team got these long-sleeve t-shirts made of heavy cotton. They were all one-a-kinds because each person's shirt had his or her myplay screen name on it. I was Daddy D. My job title was Rhythm Guitar, and we had conference rooms called Dope, Whack, and Fly.....
