Can anyone help me identify these wings? What years were they produced? Who made them?

Is the screw on the back an add-on?

The screw on the back looks original, it would have come with a matching nut to fasten the pin, perhaps on a hat or lapel.

Can you post a picture of the wing with the nut off, to show the back?

      Any markings?

      continental army air corps?
    4. WildFlour, 10 years ago
blunderbuss2 not continental. Continental was revolutionary war late 1700's, we didn't even have balloons then. Army air corps from 1926 to Sept 18, 1947 and became U.S. Airforce ! :~)

Screw on back common about WWII and prior, just like the backing of a WWII U.S. discharge button (G.I.'s called it ruptured duck-nickname), discharge buttons had this kind of backing this time period. The other is a common Eagle Herald pin, hard to date because it's been used since the 1920's though the clasp looks around the 1900's style, Eagle was even on paper money, maybe even WWI, if you could only see the maker's mark letter at the bottom of the tail on the back.

Tears are flowing here... We already spent our wad on Swampland in the Gobi, they said it had lots of gold in it and even showed us how to pan near the palm trees, we didn't buy the the dredger, not enough dough left and they wouldn't give us a deal but they had huge sharp knives so we paid them anyways!
