This is Braille, my 1972 Kenner Blythe. As mentioned in my profile, I've been a doll collector my entire life and I've been in the Blythe doll hobby for about eight years. Blythes are my life! Finally, in April 2011, I bought my very first vintage Blythe, this beautiful blonde Kenner. (All of my other Blythes were manufactured by the more current toy company who has ownership of Blythe, Takara-Tomy.)
Braille was in beautiful condition when I received her and I only did a small amount of restoration work on her upon her arrival. I washed, straightened and detangled her hair. I also washed her face and added brighter blush that resembles some of the original Kenner Blythe makeup. Other than that, all of her makeup was original and in lovely shape. And unlike many Kenners, Braille has a perfect body without the usual torso and/or butt crack.
