This is a Ansonia "Crystal Regulator No.4" circa 1906. It features Royal Bonn Porcelain, an 8-day time and strike jeweled pallet visible escapement movement with a two-piece porcelain dial and an ornate simulated mercury pendulum. This example has no chips, cracks or flaws. The movement needed repairs and a major overhaul but now keeps excellent time for an antique mechanical clock.

Bruce, If you decide to put me in your will..........
LOL toolate2! One of my kids will probably beat a hasty path to "Pawn Stars"! They may even get enough for dinner at a nice restaurant! :)
I'd do them one better, I'll spring for the dinner and we'll just cut out "Pawn Stars" all together.
I like the way you think Kerry! :) It amazes the heirlooms that some people pawn on that show for what seems to be trivial reasons, but to each his own. We couldn't collect much if people didn't want to "get rid" of stuff.
Yes and the sad truth is some of those "heirlooms" you'd think the kids would want to keep for the sake of family history, but that almighty dollar prevails. I'm sure most of the horde I've got will be at your local garage sale after my passing, if not the dump.
What're you talking about? I'm taking it all with me!
toolate, I just hope they plant me standing up so I don't lose that quarter out of my pocket I've been saving. :-)
Well, I can understand emergencies, or funds for educations and such but some of those folks just want pocket money to blow in the casinos. Whatever makes you happy! We're leaving good records so the kids will know what they have when it's in their hands. Until then, we're going to enjoy. Thanks again Guys!
Thanks for the love Isjewels!

We picked this clock up at an auction a year ago in January. It didn't come cheap, and even though it wasn't running at the time, I still think we got a good deal. I would hate to ship it anywhere. I was kind of nervous just carrying it...LOL...a lot of "what ifs" start flashing through the mind when you're dealing with porcelain. :) Thanks again!!!
Yeah, What if you ef in tripped? :)
o come on now ,we all speak french
Exactly! :). Thank you eye4beauty!
Wow Bruce another beautiful timepiece. I'm a porcelain lover too but this is the nicest one I've seen yet! If you ever run out of room let me know. lol :)
Thank you Misty for the love and the very nice comment. :) I think you'll run out of room before I will! :)
