Some years ago, I found this Mary McFadden quilted silk skirt. Usually unaffordable, her clothing is always recognizable. I've shown a photo of the inside tailoring of 2 seams on the skirt. Although it isn't lined, there is no edge left unfinished. She now has a group of her clothes in a gallery at Philadelphia's Moore College of Art.

   i love all kinds of designer vintage clothing for men and women!!! very nice!!!!, finelines dont you think that some of these designers that are still alive should make a come back?

   Interesting question, B68. But the only one still alive is Valentino and he has found a way around global conglomerates. The best are retirement age or dead. Fashion is a very expensive business these days as is illustrated by the bankruptcy of some fashion houses. Most of the contemporary designers are not very interesting to me.

   I do have a vintage Balenciaga tie posted on here and is still in business ,but your fashion is very expensive.
