This was my first "serious" collecting fad in the antique toy field. I started buying these probably around 12-14 years old, and the price tags (although relatively small now) were a pretty big deal to me then. I loved (and still love) the all metal construction, including the wheels.
I got a really nice full color collecting book around the same time, which I spent lots of time ogling. I've since moved on in my interests, but these are a bit sentimental.
