My mother bought this clock about 60 years ago at a farm auction. The finish was extremely dark from age, and appeared it did not work. She took the clock assembly out and soaked it in kerosine for a few days; she stripped the aged finish and refinished it. It turned out beautiful and kept excellent time. It features the day of month on the dial.
