I purchased this lamp amny years ago. I loved the detail of the scene on it, hunting dogs taking down an elk. The handles are like dragon heads. The top of the lamp comes off so that you can access the brass container inside. It has a brass oil fill cap on the top but the pictures don't show that. It has been electrified so is missing the complete burner. I believe it would have been a round wick from the way it looks. The lamp sets about 12 inches tall to top of the burner. It has no identifying marks on it at all. So I am curious if anyone can tell me anything about it.

I have a similar lamp with the exact same dragon handles and base. It is a Bradly and Hubbard lamp. Mine is all original with the original burner. It is marked B & H on top of the burner. Mine has a scene of cherubs fighting griffins with a sword. Bradley and Hubbard were noted for their quality metal casting.

Have you ever thought of trying to restore this beautiful lamp to its former glory as an oil burner? Bradley and Hubbard made some beautiful center draft lamps and you are right that this looks to be of that type.
