Found a pair of these covered with dirt. Clean and rewired and love the look in my office. Would like to know if others have seen this model and who made them. Made in four piece mold then cut lines added. What say you?

I like that lamp. I would be scared to death that the stack of books would fall over, knocking that antique to the floor and breaking it forever, after it lasted all these years. I would find it a better location, or move the books....but thats just me....

This lamp is by McKee from the 1920s. They made a line of pressed glass with cut highlights that they called "Innovation." There were many different patterns in this line, most only given numbers, like your lamp. Offhand I don't recall the number McKee assigned to this particular pattern. This lamp was originally termed an "electrolier" and came with a screw socket type of plug used back in those days.

Innovation was introduced in the 'teens and some items were continued into the 1920s in color. Many of the designs were patented.

Not very common to find this lamp in color, and even less common to find a pair of them. Treasure them and take good care of them.
