I just love this necklace. I have had it since I was a young girl, probably early 1970s. I still wear it now, my students think it's cool looking. The bear is holding the chain and moves up and down by tugging on the honey pots. The bear is 1 7/8" by 1". The initials on the back are marked JJ (for Jonette Jewelry). I have searched the internet and come up with mostly pins for this company. There were a few necklaces but nothing similar to mine. Is there another company, I should be looking at instead? Has anyone ever seen one like this? Does it have any value? Any information.......

Hi Bonnie. Cute necklace. Scroll down toward bottom of page when you follow this link: http://www.illusionjewels.com/costumejewelrymarksj.html
As with most vintage costume jewelry pieces, the value is what someone else is willing to pay for it. The value to you, of course, is completely different. As fashions and styles wax and wane, who is to say that Jonette pieces will increase in value. Yours looks to be either base metal or pewter. If it is sterling, that market fluctuates as well.
Nevertheless, it is charming. Thank you for sharing it.

I was pretty sure I had the correct jeweler. It's just that I can't find another necklace like mine. I believe my necklace is pewter. I have one of their pins but it's from their 2002 line. I have looked and looked with no luck for the necklace. Guess I was hoping someone here would have seen it someplace else and send me there.....
Thanks for the like.
