This is an old crutch I got several years ago and was told it was used by someone who just used the one crutch, leaning on it due to a "bad leg". The arm pad certainly is worn very smooth and looks as if it were used for many years. Neat design in the way this was made, splitting the piece of oak and inserting the handpiece, then using screws to keep the wood from splitting further. Cool crutch, it's in my collection of these at in my physical therapy office
