I just found this Coca Cola stand at the local Antique Mall here in Edmonton Alberta Canada and can not find any info on it. It looks very similar to a stand used to display a Lollipop sign or the Policeman sign. It is cast iron with a 13 inch diameter base, 39 inches tall with a 1 inch dia. pole. There was no sign or top with it. It does look very old and correct. I want to restore it correctly if it is determined that it is a authentic Coca Cola stand. I could not help myself and paid 200.00 for it. If anyone can help me ID this piece please help. I would really like to see a picture of another if you have one.
My main collecting area is Canadian made pressed steel toys like Lincoln and Minnitoy. Thank you for any help you can provide. Thanks Randy

I'd love to see more of your cars if you'd like to share. I don't see a lot of them around.

No idea about the sign though, sorry!

Hello i have some info on your base, but first i must say those are some SWEEEEEET!! coca-cola trucks you got there :) do you have the cardboard inserts too them??

The base appears to be a late 1930's base to a 6-pack display rack. it had hooks that hung from the pole to hold the carriers, the top of the pole ( if its original ) should have two screws holes were you would attach a round coca-cola sign that advertised the price of the 6-packs. i dont have a picture of one, im looking at one in Petretti's collectible price guide pg 429, i try to find another picture of one online.

Thank you guys for all your help. I do believe that we are on the right track. It most likely is a 6-pack holder. Now I can start looking for a nice sign to top it off. I am hoping that with the raised letters on the base that it is a rarer model. I can hardly wait for a family vacation to NJ and NYC in the spring to hunt for new treasures as well as a top for the stand. The Coke trucks that I have are Canadian made by Lincoln Toys. The original gray one is very very rare and the original red one more common, the other red one has been restored. The wood coke cases are a combination of original and repos, only 8 are real. I also have a fantasy pepsi truck that was made from a rusty old Lincoln coke truck, sorry but I bought it that way, it does look good. I am a avid Canadian pressed steel toy collector so my collection is rather limited to a few toy companies like Lincoln, Minnitoy, Lil Beaver, Londontoy, Mitten, Kolortone, and Tonka made in Canada. I will post a few photos of my treasures. I am new to this site and am still trying to reply to you all. Happy treasure hunting, Randy
