Are these antique lobster or nut picks? We purchased these with some other items. They came is a nice velvet-lined hinged and latched box. There are spaces for 12 of these items, but only 6 are left. They have a slight concave side on the business end. The handle reads "Meriden Brita. Co. A1". From what I could find, the Meriden Britania silver company was known for nice silverplate, and merged with other silver companies in 1898 to form the International Silver company.
