this is a early 1900s Northwood Poppy Pickle Dish in Custard Glass with Nut Meg stain applied. Ive been after one of these for years, and I was happy to have finally Won one! I really enjoy Northwood Custard, I have a few pieces, I might post later, I also enjoy the Nutmeg stain which was applied to this Pickle Dish, they are actually pretty scarce in this color, Hope you enjoyed viewing this piece!

Gorgeous colors! Is custard glass similar to milk glass?

Thanks Pickergirl and Hedgewalker, its similar to milk glass, however it ranges from a whitish hue such as this example to a having a yellowish tint, on top of that it has uranium in it as well which milk glass does not, ill have to post a picture of it under Black light tomorrow for ya Hedgewalker
